Leonora often takes to wandering around the warehouse out of boredom, and at one point discovers the lost package lying on the floor under the shelves. She feels a weird vibration coming from it, a sort of humming almost, although inaudible. She can't explain it. She takes it back to the front where she shows it to Junior and Rolando. Junior recognizes it as the football but otherwise shrugs. Rolando says he doesn't like the looks of it, declares it evil, counsels her to throw it away. She looks it up and finds that although they did scan it, it was never supposed to be here - they were not en route as it were - and that it isn't scheduled for pickup. According to her records, it was supposed to go by Next Day Air in the first place. Junior says if she cares so much about the thing she should pay for the rest of its trip, otherwise he agrees with Rolando, throw it away, or better yet, open it up and if it's anything good just take it. She considers the possibilities. She feels like it's telling her to open it up and finally she does.

It becomes electric. When she holds it in her hands it is definitely vibrating and pulsing. She cannot see an energy source, of course, and on the screen the words remain 'I would like to go home now, please' She thinks it means it wants to go home with her! She feels compelled to take it. She puts it in her overalls front pocket and immediately begins to change.
