the original endgame still has the NewPD making its getaway - but how - in Kandhi's new carry-on (the flight attendant takes it from her on entry? or the gate attendant? some new security alert? she doesn't take the NewPD out and there it goes ...)

Leonora will find her calling as a package delivery person - truck driver or truck driver's helper - she'll hook up with some trucker and accompany her on some rounds, ending up where they began, at Ledman Pickup, where Kandhi finally catches up with her and demands the NewPD back. Leonora simply hands it over. She has no idea what it is, still ... she thought it was all "the new her" all along. she comes to be thoroughly responsible and concerned that each and every package reaches its final resting place!

before then, a few more twists and turns and Leonora goes this way and that depending on circumstances. not green bay, not grand island, she actually never makes it to any of the destinations it posts on zoey's socialnet as its current dest, except the final one - Wetford!

kandhi keeps following those posts - but next she needs to go to the Giant SuperStore and get that new carryon as well as a few days worth of clothing - and then stay at the NiteyNite Moo-tel ( a cow-and-pajama-themed shithole)

Leonora's next two rides incur some danger, risk, excitement and omniscience, before her hookup with the trucker gal ... these are still TBD. Ruby, from Dawn Debris, will be the driver (I just decided) who will take Leonora on as a sort of unofficial sidekick. Ruby will have a golden retriever? (private joke for the family - named Ledge, because it likes to perch on shelves and such ?)

Ch 19 - Kandhi
uses the You to scan all photo and video streams along the highway corridors for face recognition of Leonora and finds her getting off the bus at the Trinidad rest stop, so that's where she goes, but gets there in the late afternoon and Leonora is already gone.

goes to the local Mega Giant Super Store to get her new carryon, clothes and sundries, then checks into the Nitey Nite Moo-tell, takes a shower etc ...

calls Chris, who asks her to explain her package theory. she talks of how she figured out it had hacked computers to change its routing, and how it keeps posting to zoey's socialnet with its self-scanning data - times of departure, source and destination, estimated time of arrival, with its same original barcode identifier. Now she thinks it's using Leonora as an imperfect mode of transportation - imperfect because the target stops are not being reliably met ... so ... what's in the Bonus Features?

Chris tells her about the Partial Binding, and about the Curiosity Factor, but purposely neglects to mention the Mind Control Plugin (she didn't need to know, we hear him telling Stacey after telling Kandhi to go to bed, and then hanging up the phone ...)
