21. Leonora wakes up and decides to sneak away - new feelings of family are a little frightening to her and that she doesn't belong there or anywhere, etc ... she heads down to the river, suddenly without a 'next stop' or any plan, seeing as it is Platte, not Plate. the zoey personality kicks in, requiring a plan, and steps. first things first and begin with the end in mind. she can't think of a larger plan so eventually thinks of a smaller one, with the end in mind being breakfast, so she makes her way to a Burger Joint up the road ...
22. Stacey 101 - Chief Security Officer for WWA - is monitoring Kandhi with growing disapproval. She sees how she is up and tracking Leonora through only public photo and video streams, when Stacey is doing the same through NatSurv, the national surveillance program. Although extensive because of the war it is still quite incomplete (it's illegal to tap into it of course), and both Kandhi and Stacey are finding nothing in their respective searches. Kandhi heads to Grand Island anyway. As she nears the town, Stacey receives a recent video feed from the Burger Joint, spotting Leonora there within the half hour. Stacey uploads the data into the You, along with a software patch opening a special channel, through which she can directly control Kandhi's You. When Kandhi and the You get to the Burger Joint, Leonora is gone, but now the You is able to come into direct contact with Nupie and sends it a private message, essentially ordering it to surrender.
23. The Nupie is freaked by the message from the You, and pulls out the Mind Control Plugin to find Ruby, a nearby independent delivery agent, and "convince" her to pick up and hire Leonora as a sidekick .. they head south ...
